In my search for literacy-based 3D prints for students with visual impairments, I came across a file that would print with a working hinge.   We are interested in exploring it further, but it’s a nine and a half hour print.  I wanted to be sure that the articulation in the print would work, so I found another object to test it out on.  This cute little elephant has legs that move, and required no assembly!

We decided to try a stop motion video with an elephant print, and changed the filament to green.  Sadly, the filament got stuck about a quarter of the way into the print.  The silver lining is that we can see how the articulation is designed.
