Hello and welcome to my blog. My name is Angela.
If you’ve recently attended a workshop I facilitated, you can find your workshop in the right navigation panel under “2016-2017 AfterShare”.
I was born and raised in Calgary, AB. I completed my B.A. in Psychology and then my B.Ed. in Elementary Years at UBC in Vancouver. Prior to joining SET-BC, I was a classroom teacher for 3 years in Calgary, and taught grades 3 and 6. As a classroom teacher I had experience working with ELLs and students with special needs in a collaborative team environment.
I started working for the Vancouver School Board in September 2016 as a TOC and shortly after took on a role as a Provincial Teacher at SET-BC. As a consultant my focus is to provide support to classroom teachers and the diverse needs of their students through assistive technology. I believe in helping teachers empower their students with the tools and confidence to become life-long learners. I’m excited by all the learning opportunities this new role has to offer.
