Cricksoft has just introduced Clicker 7, the newest version of the software with a few extra features. It is very similar to Clicker 6 though they have modified the look slightly. Other new features include Clicker Board, a brainstorming and planning feature, Voice Notes which allows students to record (in voice only, not speech-to-text) their sentences to rehearse writing and remember thoughts, new Children’s Voices, even easier Clickerset editing, new access options, enhanced word-prediction and a feature called Word Pool that allows the easy addition of unusual words/names to be added and correctly pronounced.

Many thanks for your diligence and willingness to try new things with Clicker 6.
Though I took very few pictures as we were quite busy, you have already given me some new and thoughtful ways to use Clicker to motivate reluctant writers!
Here’s a few slides to remind you of some of areas Clicker can support:
In addition, there are a variety of pre-made resources available for download through the Clicker 6 program at Learning Resources:
And on the SET-BC website at Curriculumset:
Don’t forget to look back at the first post on this blog to find resources to support you as you learn something new.
